Winter is citrus season, so let’s celebrate it as often and in as many ways as we can, and I enjoy cardamom year-round, but it feels especially cozy during the winter months - hello, Orange Cardamom Granola.
3 cups old-fashioned or rolled oats
1 cup sliced raw almonds
1/2 cup hemp hearts
1/2 cup pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
2 tsp. ground cardamom
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. sea salt
¼ cup coconut oil, melted
⅓ cup pure maple syrup
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Zest of 1 orange
