Lavender Mint Syrup is a fun and refreshing way to use some of the herbs that are abundant in mid-summer! It’s delicious mixed with soda water, lemonade, iced tea, coffee - any of your favorite summer beverages are better with this herbal syrup!
This Lavender Mint Syrup is a summer staple in my refrigerator, and one of my favorite flavor combinations for cooling off during a hot day. I love adding the flavors of lavender and mint to my iced coffee for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, or to lemonade for a fun herbal twist, or just to some sparkling water for a unique soda! Recently I’ve been reminded of Italian sodas thanks to the “dirty soda” trend, and why did I forget about this lovely treat?
Use Lavender Mint Syrup for your summertime cocktails and mocktails, too! There’s no shortage of ideas or uses for this lovely syrup. If you don’t have lavender or mint in your garden, ask a friend; mint grows like a weed, and I’m sure they’d be happy to share! Dried lavender has also become pretty easy to find in the spice section of most grocery stores. I’ve got other ideas for how to use dried lavender around the blog, so don’t be worried about using it up - try this Lavender Cardamom Cold Brew or these Lavender Oat Scones.
Cheers!
